The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, represented by Mr. Abderrezak HAMMADI, a director in the Agency, participated in the 4th Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum held from the 4th to the 6th of September in Beijing, China.
The Summit focused on holding several meetings with Chinese and African business leaders to enhance exchanges in the field of investment and economic cooperation. During these meetings, detailed clarifications were provided on the investment climate in Algeria, highlighting recent reforms and incentive measures. In addition, investment opportunities were presented in several strategic sectors.
For reference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed ATTAF, representing the President of the Republic, participated in the Summit, where the discussions focused on ways and prospects to strengthen the partnership between African countries and China, both in terms of intensifying intra-African trade and increasing the volume of Chinese investments in the African continent, or in terms of doubling the support directed to Africa to enable it to respond more effectively to the various challenges it faces in the field of peace and security.
