The Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Mr. Omar REKKACHE, received, on Wednesday September 18th, 2024, Her Excellency Ms. Katrine FROM HØYER, Ambassador of Denmark to Algeria, accompanied by the economic advisor from the embassy, in the presence of the Agency’s officials.
The meeting focused on presenting the investment system in Algeria and the role of the Agency in supporting and monitoring investment projects, particularly those that replace imports.
Opportunities for investment in Algeria were discussed, along with ways to exchange experiences between Algerian and Danish companies, especially in sectors that are viable to the national economy. Additionally, preparations were made for an exploratory mission to Denmark, where a delegation representing various sectors will meet with active Danish companies in relevant fields, investment funds, and professional associations, scheduled for the second half of October.
