Within the framework of implementing the program to promote european investments in Algeria, initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad in collaboration with the European Union delegation in Algeria, the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, represented by Ms. Sihem KORCHI, a director in the Agency, participated in a prospecting  mission to Sweden and Finland, from the 16th to the 20th of September 2024, aimed at showcasing the investment climate in Algeria.
This mission is part of several prospecting trips, following those organized in Belgium, Portugal, and Italy.
The mission was organized under the EU-Algeria Sustainable Investment Partnership (SIP) project, funded by the European Union, in partnership with the consulting firm “Sofreco” (responsible for project implementation), the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, and the embassies of Algeria in Sweden and Finland, as well as the embassies of Sweden and Finland in Algeria.
On the sidelines of this mission, the embassies of Algeria and Finland coordinated with the Finland Chamber of Commerce to hold a webinar showcasing “Success Stories” of Algerian-Finnish projects in Algeria. In this context, the representative of the Agency presented an overview of the investment system and opportunities in Algeria.
