The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) informs all economic operators that, starting Sunday, July 26, 2026, they will be able to submit applications for:
- Urban planning documents (building permits, certificates of conformity);
- Operating permits for investment projects registered at the level of the One-stop Shop for Major Projects and Foreign Investments;
- Work permits and related prior authorizations;
- Various procedures and documents related to company creation, including commercial register enrollment procedures and document retrieval;
- Procedures and documents related to tax administration services, as well as the collection of applicable duties and taxes associated with the execution of investment projects.
This step falls within the framework of continuing the implementation of reforms aimed at improving the investment climate and streamlining administrative procedures, pursuant to Article 22 of Executive Decree No. 26-153, dated April 14, 2026, regarding the reorganization of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, as well as decisions related to the delegation of authority to representatives of accredited public administrations and bodies at the level of the one-stop shops.
Furthermore, over the next few days, this mechanism will be extended to one-stop shops across the various wilayas of the country, enabling investors to complete their various procedures at the local level, streamlining the administrative pathway, reducing file processing times, and accelerating the implementation of investment projects.
The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency confirms that this step marks a new phase in activating the one-stop shop system. It reflects its commitment to continuously improving the quality of administrative accompaniment and strengthening coordination among various public administrations and entities, providing investors with a simpler, more efficient, and effective administrative pathway while enhancing Algeria’s investment climate appeal.
